Generate your own junta name
The 2020s have given rise to a new geopolitical concept - the 'Coup belt', which refers to countries between the west and east coasts of Africa, in West Africa and the Sahel, that are prone to coups d'état.
Since 2020, there have been about 20 coups d'état or attempted coups in these regions, often led by juntas with grand-sounding names like the 'National Committee for the Salvation of the People'.
I created this tongue-in-cheek name generator to showcase the often exaggerated names that military juntas tend to use. It's meant to highlight the extravagant titles these groups often adopt.
